WELCOME TO VOLUME 2025
OF AMPLIFY MAGAZINE

Dear Readers,

Five years ago, we launched the Amplify Mentorship Program as part of our company’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of image-makers—emerging voices whose perspectives reflect the rich diversity of the world around us. What began as a response to the social justice movement of 2020 has grown into something we’re exceptionally proud of: a thriving community rooted in creativity, equity, and possibility.

This fifth volume of Amplify Magazine marks a significant milestone—not just in years, but in impact. In traditional anniversary terms, five years is symbolized by wood: strong, enduring, and organic. We took that idea and flipped it, challenging our mentees with the question: What would you do? What would you create? Where would you go? What would you discover? The answers—expressed through photography, art, storytelling, and design—are bold, beautiful, and deeply personal.

I’ll be honest: continuing to push for diversity in this industry today can feel vulnerable. The conversation has shifted. The momentum that once swept companies into action has slowed, and in some cases, reversed. In the current climate, where DEI has become politicized and polarizing, it can feel risky to hold the line—to say, unequivocally, that representation matters. But at Apostrophe, we know it’s still the right thing to do. So we’re not backing down. We’re doubling down. We remain proud to be champions of emerging talent from underrepresented backgrounds. We believe in building creative teams that reflect the richness of our world —because when we do, the work is more authentic, human, and resonant.

Telling diverse stories leads to better stories. Full stop. The authenticity that comes from inclusive storytelling—on set, behind the camera, in front of it—creates moments that reach people on a deeper level. That’s not just good creative. It’s good humanity.

This year’s Amplify cohort has created work that exemplifies this ethos. Their vision, grit, and artistry remind us why this program matters. They are not just the future of advertising—they are shaping it right now, with every frame and every idea that challenges the norm.

To everyone who reads  this issue: I hope you feel the energy, the perspective, and the promise in these pages. May it remind you that mentorship matters. That diversity is a strength. And that when we listen to voices that haven’t always been heard, we all move forward.

With gratitude and pride,
