The Anatomy Of Inclusion is a series dear to my heart as a Queer, mixed artist. This project explores the vast uniqueness inside of the LGBTQ community. Conversations regarding race and gender are becoming more prominent, but there is still a need for broader representation in the media. Rather than offering what is typically advertised through pride month, I wanted to showcase authentic humans versus the models and stereotypes often shown by brands that only care about pride during pride. There are roughly 7.67 billion people on earth, and all of us are different. By honoring identifying BIPOCs shining as their true self, I hope those struggling with their own uniqueness can see themselves in the photos, and know they are absolutely beautiful.

Paola Trusendi is a Swiss-Colombian Director and Photographer based in Los Angeles, California. She graduated summa cum laude from Savannah College of Art and Design in 2016 with a BFA in Film and TV, with a focus on cinematography and photography.
Being born in a multicultural home to a Swiss-Italian dad and a Colombian mom, culture, and representation are steady elements within Paola’s work. Her brand is about representing you, me, and all the in-betweens without labels. Paola offers a cinematic approach to fashion and editorial photography through the use of bold and saturated colors. She rejects molds and loves working with the everyday body. Paola’s work has been featured in VICE, Vogue Italia, Savage X Fenty, InStyle Magazine, Disney, People Magazine, and more.
