Artificial Flavor is a series of images that illustrates in a surreal manner how plastic is a part of how and what we eat. There’s so much plastic in our daily lives that we don’t even recognize it, it just blends in. To be fair, lots of it is not visible to the eye: the average person consumes a credit card-sized amount of microplastics each week. So it’s not just how we eat, it’s what we eat...and drink.
